Manga Review: KHR Chapter 300 [Upgrade]
After deciding that they'll pursue with the upgrade, Talbot said that he'll get started right away and asked the Ninth to lend him a room downstairs. It surprised Tsuna that Old Man Talbot will be doing the upgrade in the castle, and Talbot replied that he's not that particular when it comes to location, and before heading off, he said that Tsuna and his guardians should rest up, for it will be beneficial for them and the rings.
And somewhere in the castle, Talbot is now starting the upgrade of the rings. In front of him is a container with a fire underneath it. He poured the Penalty on it and said out loud to Primo that the current enemy is Shimon. He struck his mallet down on the container and asked how does it feel.
On the other side of the castle, Gokudera, Sasagawa and Tsuna were talking. They were musing on how surprised they were when they learned that their enemy is the Shimon Family. They commented that it was somehow impossible due to their actions, but Reborn reminded them that because Yamamoto let his guard down, he was attacked by Mizuno Kaoru. He also said that in a short moment, they'll be in a crucial battle with the Shimon and they should fight without hesitation, he then turned to Tsuna and asked him.
Tsuna answered that he couldn't believe that the Primo could've done the things Enma said, and it was only some sort of misunderstanding and he has to clear it up, so that's why they can't lose. Tsuna's words pumped up Sasagawa and Gokudera and the two said that they'll show them and they'll win. Reborn mused that Tsuna's ready.
It was then that Talbot appeared and said that they'll know if they're really ready. He also said that it their resolution is real, then they will reply to them and he showed them his finished work.
Tsuna, Gokudera and Sasagawa are surprised with what they saw because it didn't look like rings, and it looks like rocks, but Reborn said that those were the rings. Talbot agreed that the rocks were indeed the Vongola Rings. Shocked by the news, everyone's hopes fell. They all thought that Talbot failed since the rocks looks so lifeless.But Talbot just laughed at them, saying that it still hasn't been decided whether the upgrade is failure since Tsuna and his guardians were the ones who will complete the upgrade. Talbot said that they need to awaken the souls of the rings and they must send their energy into them and light up the most powerful flame that they can, however, they can only do it once. He added that it their resolution is weak, they won't be able to sustain the life of the rings, much less stand against Shimon and they'll just fail again.He also said that if the upgrade fails, the balance of the seven flames will crumble and a disaster will occur and their animal rings will die as well.
Gokudera, Sasagawa and then Tsuna now tried to pour out their resolution to the rocks, but Talbot shouted that it wasn't enough and the rings will die. Reborn said that their family is waiting. It fired up their resolution and the rocks lit up and started cracking. The upgrade was finished and they all saw the outcome of the upgrade. For Gokudera, he got the Buckle of the Storm Version X. For Sasagawa, he got the Bangle of the Sun Version X. Hibari instantly appeared and he got the Bracelet of the Clouds Version X. And for Tsuna, he acquired the Ring of the Sky Version X.
My View:
Alright! The rings just got upgraded and they all look cool. Though, they still need to test it out if it could par with the Shimon Family. Chrome's ring got upgraded too, but she wasn't there for the final stage, so we still don't know what's the upgraded version of her ring. Though it really confuses me as to how Talbot was able to upgrade Chrome's ring. It was shown that she left the ring when Julie picked her up, but with her animal ring, I don't know with that. Well, maybe Chrome's wasn't upgraded at all.
And Lambo's and Takeshi's rings. Lambo's ring wasn't broken and Takeshi's too, since he's in the hospital, so theirs weren't upgraded, and so I don't know what will happen to their rings.
Maybe in the next chapter, the fight with the Shimon Family will now start.

Manga Review: KHR Chapter 294 [Decision]
[Couldn't resist adding this comment. I so love this pic! <3]
Chapter 294 started off with Tsuna still talking to the Vongola Ninth, Timoteo. Tsuna had turned down the Vongola Boss position. Timoteo then decided to cancel the ceremony. Tsuna profusely apologizes which Timoteo shrugs it off, saying that it's okay but he hasn't given up hope yet. Reborn offhandedly commented that he [Timoteo] is being to easy on Tsuna. The conversation was cut-off when Croquant Bouche, 9th's Mist Guardian., said that Tsuna has an urgent phone call.
The caller, turns out to be Gokudera [Bakadera/Ahodera/Stupidera/Tako-hedo] and he shakily tells Tsuna that Yamamoto is in the Central Hospital. After the phone call, Tsuna ran off, saying that has to go to the hospital.
While in the elevator, Tsuna told Reborn that Yamamoto was attacked in the baseball locker rooms. Reborn said that he'll head over there first before going to the hospital. And Tsuna commented that while Gokudera was telling him what happened, he was shaking.
Tsuna arrived at the hospital and ran directly to the operating room where Yamamoto was being operated. The door opened and they saw Yamamoto, bloodied up. The doctor and nurses held up Tsuna and told him to wait. Tsuna collapsed on the side.
After a while, Chrome offers Tsuna a glass of water, which he refuses while Ryohei was telling the others that he was the one who saw Yamamoto like that, and called for the ambulance. He also said that he tried to heal Yamamoto's wounds by using Garyuu's flames, but the wounds were too deep. Gokudera then commented, "I won't forgive whoever did this!!"
Ryohei then asked Mizuno what happened, seeing that he's the one who's with Yamamoto, and Mizuno just replied that he didn't know what happened because he left earlier than Yamamoto. Adelheid then said that if the culprit was strong enough to take down a Vongola Guardian, then it only means that the culprit was also the one who attacked the Giegue Family.
Reborn arrived at the hospital and said that digging out the culprit is hard, but he managed to do it. He then asked the Shimon Family to leave so the Vongola Family could talk privately. Reborn told them that in the locker room, he saw a bloody writing, obviously Yamamoto's doing. It said "deritoto" and when in romanji, it says, "delitto", which means "sins" in italian. Reborn then said that the attack might have something to do with the "Sin" which the current Vongola Boss passes down to the next Vongola Boss.
They all deduce that the culprit will show up in the Inheritance Ceremony, which made Tsuna decide to open up the Ceremony again, so he can catch whoever attacked Yamamoto.
_-First things first, imma need to release my stress.

I don't like this chapter at all. Seeing Adelheid all smug like that makes me want to smack her in the face.
In this chapter, you could see how Gokudera really cares for Yamamoto and Chrome was even crying.
Go Tsuna. Find who did this. Go kill Mizuno. Smack Adelheid and pwn Enma!

Manga Review: FMA Chapter 108 [Journey's End]
The last installment of FMA continued where it left off: Edward battling Father. Due to Al's sacrifice, Ed now has his arms,and thus he was able to fight Father with overwhelming strength and speed.
Father was greatly weakened because of Ed's attacks and so, he decided to take Greed's/Lin's Philosopher Stone. Father showed his arm inside of Lin's/Greed's body to get the stone. Lin tried to stop Greed from being pulled out, but Greed himself was the one who had let go of Lin's hand. Greed said that he should take the Philosopher Stone which Lan Fan possesses and go back to their country.
Battle between Ed and Father continued.
Ed was able to defeat Father and Father was sent to the gate. He faced the gatekeeper and was sucked into the gate.
The battle was now over and the people who fought alongside Ed and Al were concerned with the eldest Elric brother. Many people have suggested that they can help Ed, but Ed refused. For the last time, Ed did an alchemy to take back Al's body.
Everyone went back to their lives. Ed and Al said that they're going to travel again so see more of the world. And before Ed leaves, he indirectly proposes to Winry, in which Winry accepts.
_-I'm not much fan of the manga version of FMA since its storyline mirrors the storyline of FMA:Brotherhood. I still prefer the original anime, but I can say that FMA had a kick-ass ending. Just disappointed with the Ed/Winry development.

Manga Review: KHR Chapter 293 [Misunderstandings]
The 293rd chapter of Katekyo Hitman Reborn started were it left off: Enma waiting for Tsuna in the abandoned site. Enma felt betrayed because of Tsuna not showing up. Adelheid arrived at the site and told Enma that she saw Tsuna with Hayato and Takeshi, going to school. There, they both confirmed that Tsuna wasn't to be trusted at all and they should pursue their true intentions: the success of the Inheritance Ceremony so they could take over Vongola after that.
Tsuna goes back to the hotel were he and Timoteo [Vongola Ninth] talked. Tsuna straighforwardly declined to become the 10th boss of the Vongola. The Vongola Ninth accepted Tsuna's decision.
Takeshi was shown walking with Kaoru after their baseball practice. While in their locker room, Kaoru dropped something and when Takeshi picked it up, he noticed that it was a a ring. He showed his ring to Kaoru while the former hastily snatched his ring away from Takeshi. A piece of paper fell from Kaoru's pocket and when Takeshi bent down to pick it up, he noticed that it was a picture of the logo of the Vongola Family with an X over it. Takeshi asked Kaoru what was that all about. He joked that it couldn't actually mean to 'overthrow Vongola'. Flames came out from Kaoru's ring and he suddenly attacked Takeshi, stabbing him. Takeshi was gravely injured and there were a lot of blood all over the locker room.
_-From the beginning, I was already a little wary about the Shimon Family. Their intentions were still hazy, eventhough they said they were there to watch the Inheritance Ceremony. So it didn't surprised me at all when I read that they were actually planning something and they know about the Vongola's Sin. As a matter of fact, I was pretty sure that they were going to attempt to sabotage the ceremony, but they were actually trying to make it a success, and it totally caught me off guard. The attack on Takeshi was a surprise for me too. I know what Kaoru can be capable of, but he seemed really harmless. But then, Shimon Family is now showing their true colors so it won't be a shock for me anymore if Aoba tries to kill Ryohei or Shitt P. would try to decapitate Hayato.
I am more excited to learn more about the Vongola's Sin, so I hope in the next chapter, it'll be explained what exactly it is.
